We are talking about the actor Prithvi who made his Bollywood debut with the late Divya Bharti in 'Dil Ka Kya Kasoor'. Prithvi and Divya Bharti's chemistry was appreciated by the audience and the film made Prithvi an overnight star. But, soon his career took a drastic turn and he was confined to playing smaller roles. He then eventually stopped getting work altogether and disappeared from the limelight.
It was not that Prithvi did not get any film offers after his debut but the main reason why his career was ruined was because of a contract he had signed. Because of this contract, he was not able to work in many big films. The actor had revealed in an interview with 'Jhakkas Bollywood' that he was tied down because of that contract and had rejected many big films.
"I was trapped in a contract from which it was very difficult to get out. And they tied up my peak time. I didn’t disappear. I was always alive in the hearts of my fans. I could not do films as I was stuck in the contract," Prithvi was quoted as saying. Films like 'Darr' and 'Deewana' were among those he had to let go.
