TamilRockers, the most notorious piracy website, has leaked this week's new Tamil releases such as RJ Balaji's LKG, Tamannaah and Udhayanidhi Stalin's Kanne Kalaimaane, and the national award-winning drama To Let. The latest Telugu release NTR: Mahanayakudu, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, a sequel to the January release NTR: Kathanayakudu, is also a victim to Tamilrockers.

Within hours of release, TamilRockers uploaded the screener print of the aforementioned movies before unveiling the HD copies a day later. This development has not come as a shock to the South Indian film observers since TamilRockers is long-known for indulging in piracy despite the Tamil Film Producers Council, spearheaded by Vishal and team, taking stringent measures to curb piracy.

TamilRockers was also in the news for leaking Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and the recent Bollywood musical Gully Boy, which is raking in the moolah at the box-office. In Tamil Nadu, political entertainer LKG has taken an excellent opening at the ticket window despite the rampant piracy. The film has nearly grossed Rs 5.69 crores in two days with a significant increase in shows across all major centers in the state.

Thala Ajith's blockbuster family drama Viswasam and Superstar Rajinikanth's action drama Petta also fell prey to TamilRockers when they saw the light of day for the Pongal festival last month.
