BRS Lok Sabha Election Result 2024: Full list of winner and loser candidates will be announced soon

BRS Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) announced its candidates for all 17 Lok Sabha constituencies for the 2024 general elections. BRS president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao emphasized social equity in the selection process, aiming to strengthen the party's position against rivals like the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

- Focus on Social Equity: The candidate selection process considered social equity, with an aim to ensure fair representation.

- Grassroots Support: The chosen candidates have strong grassroots support, which is expected to improve the party’s chances in the elections.

- Previous Performance: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BRS won nine seats. However, recent defections have reduced their numbers.

- Hyderabad: Gaddam Srinivas Yadav has been nominated for the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat.

- Defections: Five sitting MPs left BRS to join other parties after the party lost power in the state assembly elections last year. Kotha Prabhakar Reddy from Medak was elected as an MLA in those polls.
- Returning Candidates: Nama Nageswara Rao (Khammam), Maloth Kavitha (Mahabubabad), and Manne Srinivas Reddy (Mahabubnagar) have been renominated.

- Former Bureaucrats: The BRS has selected former IPS officer R.S. Praveen Kumar for the Nagarkurnool (SC) seat and former IAS officer P. Venkatrami Reddy for the Medak constituency.

- Ex-BSP Leader: R.S. Praveen Kumar, previously with BSP-Telangana, recently joined BRS and has been nominated as a candidate.
