From Versace sunglasses to astrological readings: Here's what Ambani wedding guests received as free gifts

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding on July 14, 2024, was a star-studded affair attended by celebrities from Bollywood and famous personalities from various fields including business, technology, and sports. Influencers also graced the event, sharing details about the venue, menu, and gifts.

In a recent interview, podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia and comedian Akaash Singh shared some unique insights about the wedding. Ranveer mentioned that the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, the wedding venue, featured several stores offering complimentary items like Versace sunglasses and Banarasi sarees. However, Akaash clarified that not all shops, such as jewelry brands, were giving away free items. Ranveer noted the vastness of the event, making it impossible to experience everything.

Ranveer also detailed the extravagant food spread at the wedding. He described a 300-meter-long sweet counter and a pan stall run by an authentic Banarasi pan vendor. According to Ranveer, the venue hosted a variety of cuisines, including Japanese, French, Asian, and Italian, with Indian food provided by the renowned Dum Pukht. Highlights included tiramisu with caviar and fresh waffles adorned with edible petals.

A report by Zoom added that the wedding featured an astrologer shop offering personalized readings, an itaar shop, and a bangle shop, adding a traditional touch to the festivities. Guests also enjoyed a puppet show and a photo studio for entertainment.
