Many times two people from the same family enter the film industry but their journey is completely different from one another. Today, we will tell you about two sisters who entered Bollywood to become actresses but out of the two, only one achieved success and the other quit acting to live a different life.

Both these sisters have worked with two of the biggest superstars of Bollywood - Rajesh Khanna and Rishi Kapoor. Despite making their debut together, only one of the sisters went on to become a superstar. Can you guess who we are talking about?

The two sisters are Dimple Kapadia and Simple Kapadia. Dimple Kapadia made her Bollywood debut with the superhit cult-classic film 'Bobby' which made her an overnight star. Today, Dimple Kapadia is still an active part of both films and web series.

Simple Kapadia made her debut at the age of 18 with 'Anurodh' (1977) opposite her brother-in-law Rajesh Khanna. She worked in a few films thereafter but soon quit acting to try her hand at fashion designing which proved to be the best decision.

Interestingly, Dimple Kapadia got married to Rajesh Khanna right at the beginning of her career but the duo separated after 9 years of marriage.

Simple Kapadia chose to be away from the limelight and became a costume designer. She designed for many A-list actors including Sunny Deol, Tabu, Amrita Singh, Sridevi, and Priyanka Chopra. She also won the National Award for her costume design in 'Rudaali' in 1994.

In 2006, Simple Kapadia was diagnosed with cancer but she continued working in fashion. She died in November 2009, aged 51, at a Mumbai hospital.
