Ranvir Shorey, who is locked inside the Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 house, has been winning hearts since day one. In a candid conversation, he revealed his journey from working behind the scenes to emerging as a well-known face in the entertainment industry. 

Reflecting on his journey and early challenges, Ranvir Shorey shared, "I studied science until 12th, then switched to commerce but failed, then shifted to arts and faced failure again. After that, I pursued a diploma in film. My first job was behind the camera, creating reports and handling other backstage tasks. It was through this role that I stumbled upon an opportunity to become a VJ with a music channel, which eventually led me into acting."

Shorey emphasised the importance of his theatrical roots, adding, "I've always been passionate about theatre, and looking back, it's been almost 20 years since I first stepped onto the stage. Life truly unfolds through small steps."

Ranvir further shared a cherished memory from his days as a host, "During my hosting stint, I had the privilege to meet many amazing artists. One of my fondest memories is meeting Sting. The photo I have with him is one of my favorites."

For the unversed, Ranvir Shorey (born 18 August 1972) is an Indian actor and former VJ known for his work in Hindi films and television. He made his debut with Ek Chhotisi Love Story in 2002 and subsequently starred in notable films such as Jism (2003) and Lakshya (2004). Shorey has also appeared in critically acclaimed movies like Khosla Ka Ghosla, Traffic Signal, Bheja Fry (2007), and the commercially successful and critically praised Mithya (2008).

Ranvir Shorey married his longtime girlfriend, actress Konkona Sen Sharma, on 3 September 2010. The couple, engaged since 2008, reportedly had a quiet wedding ceremony at their Goregaon residence. According to The Times of India, Konkona gave birth to their first child, Haroon, on 15 March 2011, at a hospital in South Mumbai. Despite separating after five years of marriage, Ranvir and Konkona remain friends and share custody of their son.
