Shatrughan Sinha opens up on the 'pre-wedding conflict', and opens up on Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's wedding reception day.
Shatrughan Sinha was recently spotted with Zaheer Iqbal giving him his blessings and posing with him infront of the paparazzi ahead of his wedding with Sonakshi Sinha. Now, the veteran actor has opened up about the pre-wedding conflict ahead of his daughter's wedding and about the wedding reception date.
In a conversation with Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha opened up on being a part of the celebration on June 23 and said, "First of all, a lot has changed since I last spoke to you. In fact there are developments by the hour.I can't tell you about all of the developments, as this is a family matter. I had asked Pahlaj Nihalani to speak to you. But I thought it best to clue you indirectly. So quickly, yes my wife and I are very much a part of the celebrations on June 23."
When asked if Sonakshi and Zaheer are getting married on June 23? The veteran actor replied, "No, it is not the wedding. It is the wedding reception that we are all attending on the evening of June 23." Shatrughan Sinha further confirmed that there was some pre-wedding conflict, but has now been sorted and said, "No one from my family said anything about a wedding. Some media outlets have just been presuming things. Too much attention is being given to something that is a private family matter. Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted."
He concluded, "Koi wand nahin hai. Yeh sab hota hi hai har shaadi mein. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha's daughter, it doesn't mean Sonakshi can't have what she wants in life. Hum log bahot mazaa karenge June 23 ko."
Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's pics from the mehendi ceremony are going viral on social media. The actress was seen radiating glow in a red suit, while Zaheer looked charming in a white and red shirt which he paired with a pair of white jeans. The couple's wedding reception will take place on June 23 in Mumbai's Bastian, a luxurious dining place.
