According to reports, another Bollywood actor is set to join Rohit Shetty's Singham Again as a cop.
Rohit Shetty is all set to enthrall the audience with his upcoming cop universe film Singham Again. The filming for the movie began on Saturday with Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh. Now, if the reports are to be believed, Tiger Shroff has also joined the cast.
A report from Zoom stated that Tiger Shroff’s role in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again is reserved for a climactic portion of the narrative where he is expected to share the screen with Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh.
A source told the portal, “Tiger Shroff's signing for Singham 3 was the final piece of the casting puzzle. Evidently, Tiger is fully committed to this project and has been rigorously preparing himself for the challenging role, dedicating substantial time and effort to ensure he delivers an exceptional performance.”
On Saturday, Rohit Shetty took to his Instagram and announced the beginning of the film’s shoot. Sharing the picture with Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty wrote, “Singham, Singham returns, Simmba, Sooryavanshi. 12 Years ago, when we made Singham, we never thought that it would turn into a Cop Universe! Today, we begin filming Singham Again.. the 5th film in our
cop franchisee. ISME HUM APNI JAAN LAGA DENGE! BAS AAPKE PYAAR AUR DUA KI ZAROORAT HAI!”
Singham Again marks Rohit Shetty’s fifth film from the cop universe after Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. Recently, the film grabbed headlines when reports of Arjun Kapoor playing the villain in the movie surfaced on the internet. Deepika Padukone will also be reportedly seen in the role of Ajay Devgn’s sister. However, there has been no confirmation about the same from the makers yet.
Singham Again also stars Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar. The film is helmed by Rohit Shetty and is scheduled to hit the theatres on August 16 next year. It will be clashing with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming movie Ganapath- Hero Is Born. The film is helmed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Jacky Bhagnani. The action thriller also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon and is scheduled to hit the theatres on October 20.
