Mumbai's hardcore Bob Dylan fans pay a tribute to the brilliant songwriter/musician, on the occasion of his latest album release.

In the last five years, we've seen just one new album of Bob Dylan - 'Modern Times'. The album features Dylan on the keyboard, guitar, harmonica and vocals. It's the third album that forms a complete trilogy along with 'Time out of mind'  and 'Love and Theft'. Here's our tribute to the legendary artiste and poet.

The city picks their Dylan favourite:

Farhan Akhtar: "The one song that I've liked the most is 'Like A Rolling stone' because it talks about how life keeps changing. Given the times we are living in, the lyrics are extremely meaningful. I haven't adopted it for my life but I think his writing is very eclectic."

Jitish Kallat: "His music transcended the basic tenets of entertainment to become relevant historical documents. He used his medium to push certain other issues into the limelight. Be it filmmakers or artistes, he has been a great influence because of the opinions he voiced. 'Blowin in the Wind' is my favourite."

Gary Lawyer: "I think he is an incredibly gifted songwriter. Just the way he plays around with his lyrics is fascinating. His song 'Lay Lady Lay' from the album 'National Skyline' which I include in my performance list whenever I play, is one of my personal favourites. The song is very sensuous, brilliantly written and composed."

Luke Kenny: "What I like about Dylan is that he keeps reinventing himself. He started off as a folk singer with an acoustic guitar and then broke the image by taking up the electric guitar. It's one of the biggest lessons to learn from him. He was really 'Blowin in the wind', which is also my favourite.

Zenzi will be hosting a 'Bob Dylan Nite' this evening, showcasing rare footage on his life as well as a listening session of 'Modern Times'.
