Amardeep Singh Gill resigns from Coke

NEW DELHI: Multinational giant Coca-Cola on Wednesday said that Amardeep Singh Gill, convicted in the Jessica Lal murder case, was no longer with the company and had resigned before the court verdict.

"Gill is no longer in the services of the company," a spokesperson for Coca-Cola India said, when asked whether the middle-level management officer was still on the company's rolls.

He was on Wednesday sentenced to four years of rigorous imprisonment for conspiring to destroy evidence in the murder case.
