Noida Traffic Police has issued an advisory restricting traffic flow on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway from September 21-25 in view of international trade fair and MotoGP race. Entry of heavy, medium and light goods vehicles from Delhi to Gautam Buddha Nagar will be restricted from 6 am tomorrow, it said. Vehicular movement in Gautam Buddha Nagar will be controlled, it added.

The international trade fair will be held at Greater Noida's Expo Mart from September 21 to 25, while the MotoGP event will take place at the Buddh International Circuit from September 22 to 24. These events are expected to host around 10,000 foreign delegates and high-profile guests.

To maintain traffic flow, heavy vehicles will be prohibited from using the DND Flyway, Chilla Road, Kalindi Kunj, New Ashok Nagar, and Jhundpura borders. The Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway will also be off-limits to buses, heavy vehicles, and non-commercial vehicles, except for those carrying essential goods like milk, vegetables, and medicines. Restrictions will also be imposed near Pari Chowk.

During this period, heavy transport vehicles can use national highways 9, 24, and 91 to travel from Delhi to Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Agra, and Lucknow.

To ease commuting, the traffic police encourages people to use the Metro and has provided helpline numbers (9971009001 and 9355057381) for assistance.

Additionally, the Noida Police has implemented Section 144 of the CrPC until September 25, which prohibits unlawful assemblies.
