YouTuber Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern claims Chandrika Dixit replaced him in Bigg Boss OTT 3.
Bigg Boss OTT 3 had its grand premiere on June 21. Hosted by Anil Kapoor, the premiere saw influencers, actors, and YouTubers entering the grand house. There were also reports of YouTuber Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern participating in the show, however, he was not seen at the premiere. Now, the YouTuber has finally broken his silence on the same.
On Friday, Maxtern shared a video claiming that he was replaced by the vada pav girl Chandrika Dixit in Bigg Boss OTT 3 and said, "Jo mereko personal level pe jaante hai unko pata hai 2023 mere OTT 3 ki baat chit shuru ho gaye the. Mereko vada pav wali se replace kar diya. Ek baar ko Kataria (Lovekesh Kataria aka Love Kataria) se karte toh samjh aata. Han chalo bhai ki fan following hai, Elvish bhai ki fan following, duniya bhar ki audience aayege, Jio Cinema ko audience chahiye toh samjh mein ata. Par bhai vada pav wali se replace. Baki guys, koi nai. Aaj sapne pure na hue, baad mein zaroor honge. Koi nai guys.”
Maxtern is a well-known figure on YouTube. popular for his tech reviews, lifestyle vlogs, and engaging content. On the other hand, Chandrika Dixit, known as the Vada Pav Girl, shot to fame with her viral videos and quirky content revolving around her love for Mumbai's iconic street food.
Netizens reacted to Maxtern's claims. One of the comments read, "Sad for you brother we stand with you." One of the users also claimed that he would be a wild card entry in the show and wrote, "He will enter as Wild card contestant confirmed."
Meanwhile, last year Salman Khan replaced Karan Johar to host Bigg Boss OTT 2, and now, Anil Kapoor has replaced the superstar to host Bigg Boss OTT 3. Apart from the vada pav girl Chandrika Dikshit, other contestants who are fighting for the trophy this year include Sana Sultan, Sana Makbul, Shivani Kumari, Ranvir Shorey, rapper Naezy, Neeraj Gayot, Armaan Malik and his wives Payal Malik and Kritika Malik and journalist Deepak Churasiya among others.
