The event was a significant occasion for the family as they participated in celebrating the union of over 50 underprivileged couples from the Palghar area.
Isha Ambani stood out at the event, wearing a beautifully embroidered mustard kurta set. This traditional ensemble is designed by the Indian label Rimple & Harpreet, known for their exquisite craftsmanship. The outfit, named the Mustard Kurta Set, comes with a hefty price tag of ₹95,000. Videos and pictures from the event showed Isha arriving with her husband, Anand Piramal. Together with the rest of the Ambani family, they greeted the couples and their families, offering gifts of gold and silver ornaments, groceries, and household items.
Isha’s kurta and palazzo set drew inspiration from mid-19th-century resist-dye techniques. The kurta features a round slit neckline, trumpet sleeves, Kasab-dori Marodi work on the neckline and cuffs, and intricate hand-cut metal sequins and pearl embellishments. The relaxed silhouette of the kurta provided an elegant yet comfortable look. She paired the kurta with matching palazzo pants and an embroidered georgette dupatta draped over her shoulders.
For accessories, Isha chose ornate gold bangles and statement jhumki earrings, complementing her traditional outfit. Her makeup was simple yet sophisticated, featuring loose tresses, darkened brows, rouge-tinted cheeks, glossy lips, and black winged eyeliner.
In addition to the mass wedding event, the Ambani family is also gearing up for another significant celebration. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to tie the knot in a grand ceremony on July 12. The wedding festivities will span three days, from July 12 to July 14, promising to be a lavish and joyous occasion.
