With Gadar 2, Sunny Deol delivered his career-best film. The Anil Sharma's directorial has become the fastest Bollywood movie to cross Rs 450 crore mark, and the movie is expected to touch the Rs 500 crore mark. A week after the release of Gadar 2, there were news that Sunny has hiked his acting fees to whooping Rs 50 crore. Well, the actor himself reacted about the same, and his reply will leave you puzzled.

Sunny Deol on charging Rs 50 crore for his next film

As Bollywood Hungama reported, Sunny reacted to the rumours of charging a bomb for his next project, and said, "First of all, I feel money matters are very personal. No one shares exactly what he or she earns, even to (the) close ones. Secondly, what I charge or don’t charge will be decided when I sign my next film. Right now, we are all trying to process of enormity of the success of Gadar 2." 

Sunny further added, "I know my worth. Even at my lowest ebb, I didn’t compromise with my price. At the same time, main samajhdaar insaan hoon. I know today Sunny Deol is being seen in a different light. Lekin main toh wahi hoon jahan main tha. Logon ka nazariya badal gaya hai (I am where I was, people’s perception has changed).” He concluded by saying that his family is his greatest wealth. 

Gadar 2 box office collection

On Sunday, August 27, Gadar 2 crossed the Rs 450 crore mark at the Indian box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on his Twitter, "THE HISTORIC RUN CONTINUES… #Gadar2 is UNBEATABLE and UNSHAKABLE in mass pockets… The jump on [third] Sat-Sun is an EYE-OPENER… Crosses ₹ 450 cr, begins its TRIUMPHANT MARCH towards ₹ 500 cr… [Week 3] Fri 7.10 cr, Sat 13.75 cr, Sun 16.10 cr. Total: ₹ 456.05 cr. #India biz."
