'Super 30' Box Office report day 6: Hrithik Roshan starrer nearing Rs 75-crore-mark

Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 has been going through a decent run at the Box Office. After smashing opening and weekend, the movie has faced some drop over the weekdays but it has not affected the Hrithik starrer as much since the movie has reached Rs. 70 crore mark and will surely cross Rs. 75 crore mark by the end of the week.

The film, which is based on the real-life story of mathematician Anand Kumar, remains steady at the Box Office as it almost completes a week of its release. The collections of the film saw a major drop from Sunday (Rs. 20.74 crore) to Rs. 6.92 crore on Monday. It however earned Rs. 6.16 crore on Wednesday and total of Rs. 70.23 crore.

Super 30, according to a report on Box Office India, is performing best in Mumbai, followed by Delhi and UP. The movie, even though based in Bihar, is not earning as well there, states the report. More so, the Hrithik Roshan starrer will face competition from the Hollywood film The Lion King this week. The latter film is also more kid-friendly.

Super 30, also starring Mrunal Thakur, has been directed by Vikas Bahl. The movie has received a thumbs up from critics and audiences alike, and good word-of-mouth is expected to give Super 30 more boost over the coming days. Made on budget of 115 crore approx., the movie is expected to cross Rs. 75 crore mark by the end of its first week of release.
