Harshita, daughter of businessman Neeraj Gupta and teacher Neelam Gupta, is a well-known face in the world of social media and made a new identity for herself as a comedy video creator as well as an entrepreneur.
After finishing schooling at La Martiniere Girls College, Lucknow, she earned a Bachelor's in Journalism and Mass Communication degree from Amity University Noida. Her career started at Red FM in Lucknow as a producer with a monthly paycheck of Rs 24,000. However, she left that job within 6 months due to the toxic work culture. Later, she joined Radio Mirchi as a jockey. Initially, she struggled to produce videos as per her bosses’ instructions, but gradually her relationship with the camera flourished and she outshone in her respective role.

Harshita wanted to dive into the business world as well. She was very impressed with the famous Chikankari sold in Lucknow. She alongside her husband Shrey Chhabra launched 'Chikankari Hues' this year in May. Through her unique style, Harshita Gupta wants to make a separate space in the market for chikankari. In her research, she has been amazed at the dedicated individuals involved in chikankari.
She witnessed designers working from 10 am to 5 pm and getting paid Rs 100-200 per kurta. Gupta's goal is to improve these craftsmen's work settings, although she is aware that achieving this isn't going to happen overnight. On top of that, she firmly upholds the importance of striking a work-life balance and effectively managing her multiple roles, be it as a wife, family member, content creator, and now also an entrepreneur.
According to a News18 report, Harshita Gupta says that if you want to start your own business, then leave the habit of procrastination completely. Starting your own business means that the entire responsibility will be yours. If something good happens, you will make a profit from it and if something goes wrong, the loss will also be yours.
