Shilpa Shinde takes a dig at Anil Kapoor for replacing Salman Khan as Bigg Boss OTT 3 host: 'Jhakaas walo ki...'

It has been close to three weeks when Bigg Boss OTT 3 began on June 21. The biggest change this season is the show's host as Anil Kapoor has replaced Salman Khan. While some fans of the show have been liking this change, others have expressed their disapproval and want the Sultan actor to return as the host.

Popular TV actress Shilpa Shinde, who won Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 11 defeating Hina Khan in the grand finale, has taken a dig at Kapoor for replacing Khan as the new host. In an interaction with the paparazzi, Shilpa was asked if she is following the latest season of Bigg Boss OTT 3. She replied, "Host nahi hai toh mazaa nahi hai. 'Jhakaas' walo ki apni jagah alag hai. Baaki, Bigg Boss bole toh Bhai Bhai (There is no fun if we do not have the original host. Those known for 'jhakaas' have their own place. But, when it comes to Bigg Boss it's only Salman Khan brother)." Her video is now going viral on social media.

When Anil Kapoor was asked about replacing Salman Khan as the show's host, he told DNA, "Salman mera chota bhai hai, dost hai. (Salman is like my younger brother). We all are well-wishers of each other. Yeh jo word hai na 'replace' yeh galat word hai. Sab ke pass kaam hai, sabko kaam milta rahega. Kabhi kisi ke pass time nahi hota ('Replace' is the wrong word. Everyone has work, and everyone will keep getting work. Sometimes, an actor doesn't have time). Recently I got replaced in 2 films, but that's okay."
