India has successfully created a new explosive that increases the lethality of bombs and warheads by double. The navy has certified SEBEX 2, one of the strongest conventional explosives available. Additionally certified is the explosive that amplifies firepower.

Because of the explosive effect and increased firepower, three new explosive formulations developed by Economic Explosives Ltd., a subsidiary of Solar Industries, Nagpur, have the potential to revolutionise the armed forces. Compared to other solid explosives currently on the market, SEBEX 2 offers a far more potent blast effect.

Any explosive's performance is expressed in terms of TNT equivalency. Higher TNT equivalency explosives are more deadly and powerfully destructive. According to solar industry officials, the TNT equivalency of conventional explosives, such as DENTEX/TORPEX, which are used in conventional warheads, aerial bombs, and many other ammunitions worldwide, is 1.25–1.30.
