In a groundbreaking achievement, Moroccan activist and influencer Kenza Layli has clinched the inaugural Miss AI title in a virtual beauty contest, surpassing over 1,500 computer-generated models. Created by Meriam Bessa, Kenza's victory not only secured her a $20,000 prize but also spotlighted her as a symbol of digital empowerment.

With a substantial following of more than 193,000 on Instagram, Kenza Layli, who proudly wears a hijab, is renowned for her engagement centered around Moroccan society. Her platform advocates for women's empowerment in Morocco and the Middle East, alongside efforts to regulate the influencer industry.

Beyond her role as a virtual persona embodying Morocco's cultural richness, Kenza interacts fluently with her audience in seven languages, ensuring accessibility around the clock. Her mission extends beyond digital realms, as she actively promotes Moroccan heritage and advocates for constructive AI-human collaborations.

Following her crowning moment, Kenza expressed her gratitude on social media, sharing, "Sharing my immense joy at being crowned Miss AI @waicas! A big thanks to everyone who has been with me and supported me throughout this incredible experience. This award is a celebration of all our efforts in the world of AI! Proudly presenting my country Morocco."

Meriam Bessa's innovative use of AI technologies to create Kenza includes image, video, and audio generation entirely through artificial intelligence. The creators were awarded a $5,000 cash prize, a $3,000 "Imagine Creator Mentorship Program," and over $5,000 worth of PR support for their pioneering work.

Alongside Kenza, Lalina Valina from France and Olivia C from Portugal were recognized for their roles in promoting kindness and harmonious coexistence between real and artificial worlds. The Miss AI beauty pageant, commissioned by Fanvue AI Creator Awards (WAICA) in April, marked a global first, evaluating AI contestants based on their aesthetics, engagement metrics with fans, and the technical prowess involved in their development.

Kenza Layli's triumph not only celebrates technological advancement but also underscores the evolving landscape of digital influence and cultural representation in the 21st century.
