In a move that stirred up social media, a man has sparked controversy by getting a tattoo of Chandrika Dixit, famously known as the 'Vada Pav Girl'. The incident took place at a tattoo studio owned by Mahesh Chavan in Navi Mumbai, where footage captured the man undergoing the tattooing process featuring the iconic figure.

Chandrika Dixit gained widespread recognition earlier this year when a video of her selling vada pav in Delhi's Sainik Vihar went viral, thanks to food vlogger Amit Jindal. Her subsequent claims of facing threats from authorities regarding her street food stall further heightened her profile. Chandrika has since collaborated with various content creators, including Dolly Chaiwala, and is presently a contestant on the third season of 'Bigg Boss OTT'.

According to reports, the man explained to Mahesh that Chandrika served as his inspiration during a period of unemployment six months ago. Moved by her journey, he not only opted for a permanent tattoo but also launched his own vada pav stall, believing in her potential victory on 'Bigg Boss OTT 3'.

Despite his sincere admiration, the man has become a target of online ridicule. Social media users have mercilessly mocked his decision to immortalize the 'Vada Pav Girl' on his arm, with some predicting he may eventually opt for a cover-up tattoo.

Reactions on social media varied, with comments ranging from criticism of his choice to outright disbelief:

- One user remarked, "this is just ridiculous."
- Another commented, "completely unnecessary."
- A third user labeled it as "problematic."
