Anusha Dandekar was asked the actual cause for her break-up during an Instagram Q&A session. The VJ did not disappoint the user when she answered the fans question, ‘Please just I want to know the direct reason for your breakup if you can tell it’. To this, Anusha said, “We deserve more honesty, love, and happiness. And it starts with self-love. So I chose myself. That’s it.”
Shibani Dandekar, Anusha's sister, recently spoke up about Karan and Anusha's split after a long silence.
In an earlier interview with India.com Shibani said, “Her breakup was a difficult period in her life. It happened just before the lockdown. So, it was also a tricky space for her to navigate. Because essentially, everybody is then alone. You have to be able to reach out to people in your life that are there for you, whether it is on Facetime or on a phone call. That is also the way we can be there for each other.”
“My sister has reached a point where she wants to be true to herself. She wants to live the best version that she can of her own life, she wants to live the best version in terms of what her dating life could be. It was an important journey for her to be on. It was an important journey for us as sisters as well."
People speculated as to why they broke up, and Anusha took to Instagram months later to reveal that she had been duped and had been waiting for an apology but had not received one.
