Raj Kundra was born in London, England to Indian immigrants. His father worked as a bus conductor and his mother worked in a factory for survival. He left his college and
relocated to Dubai and later Nepal where he started a business selling pashmina shawls to fashion retailers in Britain and made his first couple of millions. He was later ranked as the 198th richest British Asian by Success.
Raj Kundra, who is married to Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, made his film debut, playing himself in his own biopic UT 69. The film talked about the time when Kundra was arrested on the allegations of producing porn films and spent time in a Mumbai prison.
According to multiple sources, Kundra’s net worth is around $350 million (Rs 3000 crore), which makes him one of the richest people in the entertainment industry.
