India's most difficult exam, the UPSC, attracts applicants from all over the country. Millions of candidates show up for the exam with the sole intention of passing it. However, only a select few succeed and attain the rank that offers them to the titles of IAS officer, IPS officer, or IFS officer.

The UPSC Civil Service Examination is divided into three phases: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the interview. IAS Chandrakant Bagoria advised those getting ready for the UPSC exams to have a backup strategy. Chandrakant spent many years working very hard to achieve his goal of becoming an IAS officer.

Who is Chandrakant Bagoria?

Chandrakant is son of Rajendra Bagoria, who is a professor at the Government Inter College in Uttarakhand's Almora. Bhuvaneshwari, Chandrakant's mother, encouraged him to enter the Civil Services. She gave Chandrakant a lot of inspiration for this and never stopped supporting him, even when he did not succeed.

The younger brother of Chandrakant holds a BDO position in Uttarakhand, and the sister holds an M.Tech. Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Nanakmatta served as Chandrakant Bagoria's primary educational institution. Since he was young, he has excelled in academics and has a constant desire to learn new things. He earned his B.Tech in Electronics in 2014 from a reputable university in Bareilly.

He began dreaming of joining the civil service in addition to studying engineering. As soon as he graduated from engineering, Chandrakant Bagoria began preparing for the UPSC examination. In all three of his tries, he had failed.

But he persisted in trying. Then, in 2021, he took the UPPCS exam and passed, receiving an AIR 5 on his first try. But because becoming an IAS officer was his dream, he took the UPSC CSE in 2022 and passed with an AIR 75.
