There are a number of celebrities who haven’t done a single film but are still popular. One such star, who once worked as a waiter, later became a sensation on internet. The star we are talking about is seen in Amabnis’ parties, is famous among the Bollywood A-listers and lives a luxurious life. He is none other than Orhan Awatramani aka Orry.
Orhan Awatramani is a social media star who first grabbed news when rumours about him dating Janhvi Kapoor went viral on the internet. He is often seen partying with Ajay Devgn's daughter Nysa Devgn and other Bollywood celebrities like Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan. However, there is a constant question as to what does Orry do for a living.
Orry grabbed negative attention when he answered that question and said that he is working on myself. Now, he shared a video on his Instagram, where he revealed that he once worked as a waiter and said, "I was waiting tables and was a part of a “waiters’ group.” Though he hasn't done any films yet, or any shows, he last year made an appearance in Koffee With Karan and shared the stage with Salman Khan in Bigg Boss. He is often seen attending Ambanis' events even though he is not a part of the entertainment industry.
He revealed in an interview with Forbes that his primary source of income is attending private events or weddings as guest for which he takes Rs 15 lakhs to 30 lakhs. He said, "For now, my focus is to spread the message of happiness. It resonates with people, keeps me going, and allows me to attend events that bring joy to others and myself. These appearances are currently my primary source of income."
He further added, "People call me to weddings and they are happy to pay me anywhere between ₹15 lakh- ₹30 lakh. They want me to attend not as a guest but as a friend, maybe to the groom or someone else. So, my actual audience keeps me so afloat that they want me there at their events.”
However, According to a screenshot of his LinkedIn profile, Orhan aka Orry works as a ‘Special Project Manager’ at Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), which is Mukesh Ambani’s conglomerate. Orry has been working at this position at Reliance for six years, and has also expressed interest in graphic design. Through his job he has a close connection to the Ambani family and was also seen at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding parties which was attended by Bollywood A-listers, cricketers and others. Orhan Awatramani is quite active on social media and has a fan following of 1.2 million followers and often shares pictures partying with Bollywood star kids.
