On Sunday, South superstar Nagarjuna faced criticism after a video showing his bodyguard pushing away a specially-abled fan at the Mumbai airport while the actor walked by went viral. In the clip, a specially-abled fan can be seen trying to take a selfie 

The video quickly went viral, leading to public outrage and many accused the actor of ignoring the incident. Responding to the criticism, Nagarjuna issued an apology for the incident and assured that he would be more cautious in the future. He took to Twitter and wrote, "This just came to my notice … this shouldn’t have happened!! I apologise to the gentleman and will take necessary precautions so that it will not happen in the future !!"

Netizens reacted to his apology, one of them wrote, "The people around you need to apologise sir, it's not even your mistake." The second one said, "thank you for addressing this matter promptly sir. I appreciate your commitment to ensuring respect and professionalism. This problem is the bouncer why you sir." The third one said, "That guy is handicapped shame on you and your bouncers that they didn’t spare that handicap guy. Shameful."

Nagarjuna will next be seen in the film Kubera which also stars Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh. According to the reports, both Nagarjuna and Dhanush arrived in the city for the film's shoot.
