Dubai’s Burj Khalifa leaves everyone awestruck with its towering height. The construction of this was a significant challenge because Dubai is built on sand, which poses a risk of sinking. This makes the Burj Khalifa a marvel of engineering. But do you know who owns the Burj Khalifa and which company built it?

The construction of the world's tallest building began in January 2004. It stands 828 metres tall with 163 floors. The building was inaugurated in January 2010. The Burj Khalifa holds eight world records, including the tallest building and the elevator with the longest travel distance.

The owner of the Burj Khalifa is Emaar Properties, chaired by Mohamed Alabbar. However, the building was constructed by a collaboration of three companies: Samsung C&T from South Korea, BESIX from Belgium, and Arabtec from the United Arab Emirates.

The Burj Khalifa is also designed with environmental sustainability in mind. Notably, the top of the Burj Khalifa can be seen from as far as 95 kilometres away.

The Burj Khalifa is an architectural wonder. It stands tall as a symbol of what can be achieved with vision and collaboration.
