Anand Piramal, the well-known businessman Ajay Piramal's son, is the spouse of Isha Ambani, the adored daughter of the group. The town of Bagad in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, is Anand Piramal's birthplace. The Piramal family initially lived in this village. Upon marriage, Isha Ambani continues to visit her in-laws. Bagad might be a tiny village. However, this area is known for its magnificent mansions.

For the past forty years, the Ambani and Piramal families have been friends, and this friendship has now developed into a relationship. In 1920, the Piramal family began building a business empire valued at over 67 thousand crores. Following World War I, Seth Piramal Chaturbhuj Makharia, the grandfather of Ajay Piramal, travelled from Bagad, Rajasthan, to Bombay with fifty rupees.

In Bagad town, the Piramal Group's ancestral mansion still stands. These mansions are well-known. The Piramal mansion, however, is unique. The interior architecture is very impressive. It's thought that a hotel currently occupies this mansion. Visitors arrive and remain here. The Piramal Group still owns this ancestral home.

Historians state that this region was ruled by Shekhawat Rajputs from the fifteenth century (c. 1443) until the middle of the eighteenth century, or around 1750. Their empire then reached Jhunjhunuwati and Sikarwati. The region governed by the Rajputs of Shekhawat was referred to as Shekhawati, but Jhunjhunu and Churu districts were also included in this term because of the similarity of language, way of life, diet, dress, and social and cultural customs. The historian Sujan Singh Shekhawat states that Rajput Rao Shekha ruled this region from 1433 to 1488 in the preface of his book "Nawalgarh Ka Aakhri Itihaas."
