The Parliament is expected to witness intense debates on various issues as both the houses would reconvene on Monday, July 1. Major issues include the NEET paper leak controversy, the Agnipath initiative, and inflation. The opposition is also likely to bring up the issue of unemployment.

In the Lok Sabha, BJP leader and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur will initiate the debate on the Motion of Thanks on the President's Address. Bansuri Swaraj, a first-term Lok Sabha member and daughter of the late BJP leader Sushma Swaraj, will second the motion.

The Lok Sabha has set aside 16 hours for this debate, which will end with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reply on Tuesday.

The Rajya Sabha has allocated 21 hours for the same debate, with the Prime Minister expected to respond on Wednesday.

Protests have already occurred in Parliament over the NEET issue.

On Friday, opposition INDIA bloc forced adjournment in the Lok Sabha, demanding a discussion on the NEET issue. The Rajya Sabha also saw loud protests, with opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge joining fellow members in the Well of the House.
