The rumors gained traction after they appeared together in AP Dhillon's latest music video titled "With You." The video showcases affectionate and endearing moments between Banita and AP Dhillon during their shared vacation. Adding to the buzz, they were seen attending the grand screening of AP Dhillon's upcoming docu-series "AP Dhillon: First Of A Kind" in Mumbai. The unscripted Amazon Original series chronicles AP Dhillon's journey from his humble beginnings in Gurdaspur, Punjab, to his rapid rise in the music industry. The series is set to premiere on August 18.

Born and raised in Caerleon, Wales, Banita Sandhu grew up in a second-generation British-Indian household with aspirations of becoming an actress. She shared, "It's a common thing to say I always wanted to be an actress, but it's also true. I used to watch soap operas as a child, with a dream of securing a role in Coronation Street. At the age of 10, I sat my mom down and outlined my plans," Banita revealed in an interview with BBC.

Banita Sandhu stepped into Bollywood through Shoojit Sircar's film "October" in 2018, where she co-starred alongside Varun Dhawan. She secured the role while studying at King's College London. Her performance received acclaim from fans, leading to her winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Additionally, she was recognized as 'The Face to Watch Out For' by Vogue India.

In 2018, Banita Sandhu also appeared in Diljit Dosanjh's music video "Jind Mahi."

A year later, she made her Tamil cinema debut in "Adithya Varma," a film directed by Gireesaaya and featuring Dhruv Vikram in the lead role. The movie was a remake of the Telugu film "Arjun Reddy."

Before making her big-screen debut, Banita Sandhu appeared in several advertisements. Notably, she also ventured into Hollywood, being part of the American sci-fi series "Pandora."

Banita Sandhu completed her graduation in English Literature with Film Studies from King's College London in 2018.

Her most recent appearance was in the film "Mother Teresa & Me," which also earned the Best Film Award at the Mirabile Dictu International Film Festival in Rome. The movie was released in May.
