Apart from the top-class performances by athletes, every big sporting event tends to throw up a few heartwarming sights too. Like the one where Japanese players and fans were seen cleaning the stadium during the FIFA World Cup earlier this year. In the ongoing Asian Games in Jakarta-Palembang, too, there was one beautiful moment where an Iranian Wushu player lent a helping hand to his Indian counterpart.

The incident happened on Wednesday during the men's Sanda 60 kg semifinal between India's Surya Bhanu Pratap Singh and Iran's Erfan Ahangarian. Surya seemed to have injured his knee during the bout but kept on fighting. At the end of it, Erfan, who won the bout, didn't celebrate his win but lifted Surya in his arms and carried him off the ring.
