Raveena Tandon revealed that she had a 'no-kissing policy' in her career, and shared if her daughter Rasha Thadani would be comfortable doing kissing scenes.
Raveena Tandon, one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood in the 90s, recently shared that she had a 'no-kissing policy' in her films after an uncomfortable incident when a male actor's lips brushed against hers by mistake and made her feel nauseus, that she ended up puking after coming back to her room.
Talking to Lehren Retro, the National Award-winning actress said, "I remember I was doing a little rough handling scene with a male actor and I remember by mistake his lips just brushed my lips. It was by mistake, it was not even required. Like in that whole frenzy, it was a mistake. I went to my room and threw up because I was so not comfortable. The shot got over and I went up and I had nausea. I could not bear it. I was like ‘yuck no. Please brush your teeth, wash your mouth a hundred times'." She added that the male actor was doing the villain role in that film and he was quite apologetic after the incident.
When Raveena was asked if her daughter Rasha Thadani, who is set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Ajay Devgn's nephew Aaman Devgn in Abhishek Kapoor's romantic drama, would be comfortable doing kissing scenes, the Mohra actress replied, "Again it depends. If she is comfortable doing it with someone, then why not. If she is not comfortable, nobody should have the power to force her to do anything that she does not want to do."
Raveena made her acting comeback in 2021 with the crime thriller web series Aranyak, which started streaming on Netflix in 2021. The actress was also seen playing Ramika Sen, Prime Minister of India, in the 2022 blockbuster KGF Chapter 2, headlined by Yash and directed by Prashanth Neel.
