Upasana Kamineni Konidela is a third-generation entrepreneur from the Apollo Hospitals family in India. The 34-year-old is the vice chairman of CSR Apollo Hospitals Group. Apollo Hospitals was founded by her grandfather Prathap Reddy, who has a real-time net worth of USD 3 billion (Rs 25050 crore), as per Forbes. Upasana spearheads significant social initiatives within Apollo Hospitals, emphasizing health with empathy and dignity.

Upasana is also the founder of URLife, an all-in-one wellness platform. She heads it as managing director. The businesswoman is married to Telugu star Ram Charan. Upasana has been married to Ram since 2012. The couple are known to be young inspirational influencers in South India. The duo have a daughter named Klin Kaara. Her mother Shobhana is the executive vice-chairperson of Apollo Hospitals. 

Upasana holds a masters in MBA from Regent's University London. She also studied at Harvard University where she learnt skills to run businesses. She is also the Managing Director of FHPL (Family Health Plan Insurance TPA Limited). 

Upasana is also known for her philanthropic work. She often shares updates from her life on Instagram wherein she has 11.5 million followers. She is celebrated for her advocacy work encouraging women in India to prioritize their careers. Upasana is also passionate about the environment and has expanded the Apollo Foundation's mandate to include the rehabilitation of tribal people. Upasana also serves on the boards of multibillion-dollar companies including Zydus Group.
