Varun Dhawan-starrer Baby John to now release on Christmas 2024, will clash with Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par

Varun Dhawan’s upcoming actioner Baby John will now be released on the occasion of Christmas, December 25, 2024. The film, which is directed by Kalees, was earlier scheduled to release on May 31. The movie is pushed to a later date given the heavy reliance on visual effects and action sequences, read a statement.

The makers announced the new release date of Baby John with a new poster, in which Varun Dhawan is surrounded by several men carrying arms in their hands. "Christmas this year just got merrier. Brace yourselves for Baby John releasing on December 25th", the caption read. 

The upcoming actioner marks the Bollywood debut of the National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh and also features Wamiqa Gabbi. Baby John will now clash with Aamir Khan-starrer Sitaare Zameen Par, which recently completed its shooting. The film is targeting to hit theatres on Christmas 2024, though the official release date hasn't been announced yet. It is the official remake of the 2018 Spanish sports comedy film Campeones, Champions in English. 

Earlier, Welcome To The Jungle was also slated to release on Christmas 2024. Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Shreyas Talpade, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani-starrer threequel has now been postponed due to delays in shooting schedules.
